upon our shores
pulsing
beating
Mother Earth's heartbeat

Rhythmic sounds
surrounding
becoming
inside me
beats the heart
of Mother Earth

pounding
my feet join rhythms
arms swinging
hair flying
Earth's heartbeat is mine
I am Her

Mother, Lover
dancer
wild and free
dreaming me
holding me
power pent up
exploring me
releasing me
to dance, feet shifting
